At times, when I lie down on my comfy bed,

and look up at the spinning ceiling fan,

I see screened pictures of our happy moments,

as if I'm flipping through our photo album.

At that moment,

bits and pieces of memories started to flow into my mind.

Back then it was a hard time for us.

Especially for you.

Whenever I see you,

you are just lying there.

Sometimes asleep,

or just a smile with a wave to me.

You can barely walk a distance,

I've tried holding your hands,

while walking on the same path,

but i realized that your road is rougher than mine.

As time travels,

things are not getting any better.

I kept reminding myself to hope for the best and at the same time prepare for the worst.

The only thing that I can do is to pray hard,

hoping that God would 'smoothen' your road that enables you walk further distance.

Till the day arrives,

the weather outside wasn't any happy or sad.

It was a calm and silent day.

While I stood by your side observing your heart rate,

As the life drowns out of your body.

You were breathless,

I whispered to you,

I called your name.

But you never answered.

I knew your soul was departed.

Tears shed down from my eye,

Just like the rain that poured heavily last night.

Till then,

It was a day unlike any other day.

Our relationship is just like a fairy tale,

A story to be penned down in another page of history.

I knew you have left us,

but you will always be the one.

Sometimes love comes around,
